No happiness here...

The quality is horrendous! My face looks blah and you can obviously see the sadness in my eyes :( Sorry for the way I sound, my mind was a blur... I hope everyone is well.. Sorry this is so short.

*hugs* Not great news. But not unsurmountable. I'm sorry that the doctor wasn't kinder, though.

The HSG, what you're having next week, it was fine for me - some women have pain. I'd recommend taking advil about an hour beforehand; my doctor had me do that, and I think it helped. I hope the tests come back well, or at least with some answers.

Thank you so much! Well, I received a phone call this morning & was given so great news. ... I had a pap smear done a few weeks ago (which, I was still waiting for the results) and I was just told the results came back completely normal! Not one trace of abnormal cells, so I have no idea what the hell the doctor was talking about yesterday! He had me stressing til about about 4am... So now for the rest of the hurdles :) Thank you so much for the encouraging words :)

I am so sorry! I know how hard this is. The HCG test isn't bad, they are checking to see if your tubes are open. Have you done Clomid before? If not and you want to know anything about it drop me a line I was on it for four cycles. My thoughts are with you!!

Fingers crossed for you, lady.

As tough as it is to hear things like that... it is better that you are hearing it now instead of trying and trying and spending more and more money-- and THEN finding out.. going through treatments.. etc.

Everything will be okay, and happen just as they should.

Peace-
casey

Glad to hear all is okay with your pap. I found the HSG to be pretty bad. Not trying to scare you but I want you to be prepared just in case. It is different for everyone but for me, I ended up taking the rest of the day off of work and had pretty intense cramping the rest of the day. I felt pretty worked over after it was done, even though I had taken advil before I went in. It probably will be no problem for you but you may want to have a back up plan just in case.

Hugs

Sorry to hear the news about the Dr appt. At least the pap came back with good results and you now have a direction. All that wondering about your cycle can now be over. Just like the first poster said, not insurmountable. You'll still get there! And its better to know then to not. Its that unknown that is the scariest for sure! Keep your chin up!

The HSG was quite an experience for me but I think my experience was abnormal. I recommend taking pain killer before the exam and just trying to stay clam. I had lots of pain and bloating afterward (and a fever scare) but it all went away by the next day. Then they told me both of my tubes were blocked. We tried IUI anyway...and well you know the rest. Just try and relax and above all else listen to your body, you know it better than anyone :]
hang in there!

So glad the Pap Smear was normal, from your comment above/update. That's great. I've had two HSGs. The first one wasn't too bad, the second hurt more. I reccomend advil and Valium if you can get your hands on it. But everyone is different. Big hugs.
